I want my students to get plenty of practice with math fact strategies. And with these BOOM Cards they get that practice. I love how these digital task cards are interactive as well!

Students move counters to fill in ten frames for the Make Ten Strategy.

Students can move the “loops” for Number Line Strategy.

Plus, each set has a variety of question types. So students never get bored. There is drag and drop, multiple choice, and fill in the blank.

I do want students to transfer these strategies into mental strategies. That is why I have my students do BOOM Card sets that just have math fact problems. That way students can choose whichever strategy and apply it to the equations. They do this until they commit the fact to memory.

To keep students interested in this I have a set for each month. Each month has a different clip art for them. Within the sets there are also different types of questions to keep students engaged.
